Joomla-Store is a powerful shopping cart component for Joomla.

Joomla-Store was originally based on the osCommerce/CRE Loaded shopping cart .  However both shopping carts were lacking some features  in terms of  presentation. 

Thus, we integrated the shopping cart into a component, several modules and plugins to become a fully joomla shopping cart. At the same time, we rewrote the code to adhere to joomla coding standards and adopt an Object oriented approach instead of the procedural coding used in osCommerce and CRE Loaded. We added as well our own modules : order management, order and package tracking.

Starting in mid 2007 , a brand new Flash dashboard will allow the site admin to have a powerful array of key indicators in graphic format . See demo examples here

We modified the database structure to include cost fields, better information managed at the product attributes levels. we modified the multiple images  functionality to save images in separate folders and rename them.  a long list of modifications is planned for 2007.

 The result is a powerful and flexible shopping cart inside a very powerful CMS application like Joomla. You benefit from all other components available from Joomla and can present a very nice shopping cart to your clients.
